Can't believe it's only been a week here... so much has happened. Thank goodness we have Darren to keep everyone updated, since this blog has us sitting in Vancouver still. We don't have internet in our apartment yet, so we are not able to access Blogger, Facebook and any other site deemed inappropriate by the government. Therefore, updates like this will have to be on company time.

Troy gets our kitties from quarantine today! I think that will help us to feel truly at home to have those critters around.

Keeping this short, as I'm still in my probation period here at the job.

We're camped at the Vancouver, BC airport now, waiting to board the last and longest leg of the journey to Shanghai. Flight is 13 hours from here, but it goes directly to our new hometown. We are liberally supplied with laptops, phones, books and snacks, so the time is passing easily... crossing my fingers that in continues so.

Cats are calm, if unhappy.
